In science we have a new unit! It is Mysterious Powders! There is a problem we need to solve. To solve the problem we have to observe 6 white powders. Once we observed the 6 white powders, we got the mysterious powder, then had to observe that powder. Then our teacher told us that the mysterious powder was a mix! So then we tried to figure out what the mix was. Then we started to do a different test. We put all 6 powders in to a tray that is called a spot tray. Then we put 2 drops of water into the powder, stirred it 3 times, observed, added 4 more drops of water to the powder, stirred it 6 times, and observed again. So that is what we did for science this week!

Below are some pictures of us conducting tests on our Mysterious Powders. Today we added powder to liquid in medicine cups, rather than using the spot trays. There is also a picture of the six powders that we are testing.
